This is a great Sl(a)g, probably the best official representation of this character we have gotten to date. Daniel is an afterthought and I would much rather Hasbro had included a sword. The figure is also not entirely free of Hasbo's habit of not covering visual hollowness in dinosaur mode, but this is a fine figure overall.

Marc CraigSS86 SL*g (insert your vowel of choice) is great! Looks fantastic in both modes. I'd say the transformation is more removed from the G1 than Grimlock's, meaning it's less intuitive, and leading to weird additions like Faux Toes on the back of the Dino, while the real robot toes hang out of his butt.
Daniel in his Exo Suit is a similar useless trinket to Wheelie, in that he's a hollow, barely poseable figure.. at least Wheelie had a face! I am in the "would have preferred a sword" category for that part of the plastic budget.
The second leader class Dinobot based on the 1986 Transformers movie! The figure transforms into a dinosaur, he comes with a gun and a pointless mini figure that is meant to be Daniel but it's a junk accessory that would of been better as a sword for the main figure!
